As a child Cristian's family began attending Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa with pastor Chuck Smith where he began hearing and learning about the Lord. Cristian had plans of becoming a professional soccer player, but the Lord had greater plans in store. After a serious high school soccer injury that put Cristian in the hospital, he could hear the doctors and nurses in the hallway saying "he might not make it." This got Cristian really considering his eternal destination, and he began to question if he would go to heaven or not if he died. After a time of realizing this world has no real satisfaction to offer, Cristian surrendered his life to Jesus in 2005. He was 18 years old and never looked back. After some time of walking with the Lord, Cristian began to feel a tug in his heart to pursue the ministry. He began attending Calvary Chapel Bible College in Costa Mesa. Following Bible College, he assisted with a new church plant at Calvary Chapel Crossover in Brea, CA. It was as he was serving there, that Lord brought his wife Eva into his life. Cristian was ordained as a Calvary Chapel Pastor in 2017. As Cristian and Eva continued to serve the Lord together, he began to feel a tug to further his ministry education. He began "The School of Ministry" at Calvary South OC, where he graduated in 2023.
Upon graduation the Lord opened a great door of ministry for Cristian to move his family from Southern California to the Florida panhandle to re-plant Calvary Chapel Panama City Beach. In obedience to the Lord, they set out on a venture of faith to the Emerald Coast. Pastor Cristian is currently the senior pastor of Calvary Chapel PCB and is a speaker on the weekly Bible teaching radio program "Striking the Balance." Cristian's favorite thing to do on his days off is spend it with his beautiful wife and five children.
